Meet the (dream) team
Anna Gromadzka
Founder & Owner of Galdur Iceland Tours
Anna holds a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Białystok in Poland. She also completed a course in Accounting and Office Software at NTV, a vocational school in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Although numbers, analysis, and planning have always been familiar to her, her interests have always extended far beyond mathematics. She combined her passion for exploring Iceland with her organizational skills and analytical approach to planning – and that is how Galdur Iceland Tours was born.
Anna is primarily responsible for creating travel itineraries, communicating with clients, managing reservations, and coordinating tours. Her goal is to ensure that every trip is not only well-organized but, above all, tailored to the interests, needs, and expectations of each guest.
Because great travel planning is about more than schedules and reservations. It is also about listening to people and understanding what they truly want from their journey.
Michał Gromadzki
Owner, Tour Guide, Driver & Photographer
Michał graduated from the University of Physical Education and Tourism in Białystok, Poland. Traveling, outdoor activities, and discovering new places have always been an important part of his life.
After moving to Iceland, he worked as a minibus driver and a sales representative for Kerfi, an Icelandic company specializing in coffee and professional coffee machines. His work took him across Iceland, giving him the opportunity to explore the country, learn about local customs, and meet people from different backgrounds.
Today, as a tour guide and professional driver, Michał combines his experience with his passion for travel, sharing his knowledge of Iceland with visitors from around the world.
Qualifications and Licenses
Michał holds:
* Icelandic driving licenses in categories C, D, and E, along with the professional driver qualification Code 95.
* Icelandic taxi licenses – Atvinnuleyfi (Harkaraleyfi) and Rekstrarleyfi, issued by Samgöngustofa (Icelandic Transport Authority).
* Professional passenger transport qualifications.
* First Aid Training Certificate.
Another of his passions is photography and filmmaking. He especially enjoys drone photography and videography, capturing Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes from a completely different perspective.
During tours, Michał focuses on safety, professional organization, and creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, making sure that every guest feels comfortable and enjoys their Icelandic adventure.
And What About Life Beyond Traveling?
Working in the coffee industry left Michał with another passion – really good coffee!
That is why they also make sure there is always plenty of delicious, aromatic coffee at Galdur Cottage.
After all, what could be better than enjoying a great cup of coffee while admiring Iceland’s spectacular natural scenery?
